Terms & Conditions – we reserve the

Before placing an order to protect your own interests we recommend that you carefully read these terms and conditions before accepting them. By placing an order on this website you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions as set out below and that you are entering a legally binding contract with Pyramid Educational Consultants UK Ltd.
Nothing in these conditions will reduce your statutory rights relating to for example goods which are faulty, unsatisfactory, described incorrectly or not fit for purpose. For further information about your statutory rights please contact your local authority Trading Standards Department or Citizen Advice Bureau.
Please note you are entitled to cancel this contract if you so wish provided that you exercise your right and notify us no longer than 14 working days after the day on which you receive your goods. You will then have a further 14 days from the cancellation date to return the goods to us.
All orders placed online will be treated as an offer to purchase goods from us. You will receive an emailed confirmation of your order, followed by a further email at time of despatch. We reserve the right to refuse or reject any offer to purchase and/or return payment.

Distance Selling, Cancellation, Complaints & Goods Returns
From Friday 13th June 2014 the “Distance Selling Regulations 2013” are superseded by the “Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013
In accordance with this new “Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 Act” as the buyer/consumer you have the right to exercise your right to cancel your order and return your goods to Pyramid Educational Consultants UK Ltd for any reason whatsoever at any time up to 14 days following the day of receipt of your goods being the last day of goods physically received by you in the case of multiple/split deliveries. You must confirm your intentions to cancel your order by a clear method of statement to us here at Pyramid Educational Consultants including email fax or in writing before the cancellation deadline of 14 days from the date you received your goods has expired. You will then have a further 14 days from the cancellation date to return the items to us.
How to place an order
We accept orders online, by email, by fax and by post. The contract between customer and supplier becomes binding when you the customer have placed your order and we the supplier have processed that order ready for despatch.
While we have made every effort to show and describe our products as accurately as possible in rare cases the final product may differ slightly from the images shown. We sometimes substitute products of a similar description where for example the original item becomes unavailable. Packing may also vary from that shown.
It is your legal duty to take reasonable care of the goods while in your possession, to return the goods with all original packaging where possible and labels intact and to take reasonable steps to protect the goods from damage whilst in transit. Pyramid Educational Consultants UK Ltd reserve the right to make deductions and charge you for reasonable cost and expenses incurred as a result of you exercising this right to cancel including opening the goods, damage to the goods or use of the goods.
Your refund will be issued by the same payment method as your original payment was made, including the original delivery cost of your order however this will only apply if you return the entire order , delivery refunds will only apply to UK deliveries. If you have chosen a faster delivery method only the basic cost will be refunded. The refund will be made within 14 days from the date the goods are received by Pyramid Educational Consultants UK Ltd
Any postage and packing costs incurred by you to return the unwanted item/s to Pyramid Educational Consultants UK Ltd will not be refunded and any return cost is your responsibility as the consumer/buyer.
When returning goods, please pack carefully to prevent damage, enclosing your details and we also recommend you obtain proof of posting which is free at any Post Office. Recorded Delivery (a chargeable service) is also a secure service we can recommend. Any collections necessary made from you will be chargeable at our cost. Please post back to the following address:

All products and services are subject to availability and maybe withdrawn at anytime including after you have placed your order. We will use our best endeavours to seek your permission before supplying substitute goods – for example a different colour in the event of that ordered being unavailable. Replacement goods will be to the same value and quality or higher and may be returned at our cost as soon as it is reasonably possible for a full refund of the purchase price if deemed unsuitable upon delivery.
Please examine the goods as soon as is reasonably possible after delivery and advise us of any discrepancies within 7 working days of receipt. This should be done in writing and sent to firstname.lastname@example.org and you should include your order number and /or invoice number.
If you have not received your order within 21 working days of placing it please contact our office. If after 1 month you fail to notify us that the order has not been received we reserve the right to close your order and it will be considered null and void. You can order the items again if you wish but you will be charged the standard rates for the items plus delivery.
Please examine the goods as soon as reasonably possible after delivery and advise us of any fault or defect with a reasonable time. Should any fault develop within 6 months of the purchase date we will assume that the fault was there when we sold you this item and we will offer you a replacement.
We ask that the faulty item be returned to us and we will pay for the item to be returned. Outside of this 6 month warranty the consumer will be responsible for replacement of the faulty item.
Please appreciate that we cannot be held responsible for any damage caused by improper or extreme use, including overstretching, mouthing and biting.
Damaged in Transit
If you receive a damaged package, when signing for your parcel please write on the drivers paperwork that your parcel was received damaged and inform us within 7 working days. Please examine the goods as soon as reasonably possible after delivery and advise us of any damages with 7 working days.
We apologise if we have not delivered to your expectations please contact us to try and out this right.
All prices quoted are GBP £ sterling and are inclusive of VAT at the current rate of 20%. If this rate changes we reserve the right to increase or decrease prices accordingly. Some combination items such as Starter Kit and Lesson Packs include printed items at zero rate VAT and others at standard rate therefore the VAT charged will not be the full 20%. The prices shown are per item or per quantity as specified. Delivery is not included in the price unless specifically stated.
Only prices marked in blue in our Resources Brochure or clearly stated on our online shop are eligible for zero rated VAT. If you are an individual or a registered charity and eligible for zero rated VAT please contact us for a “VAT Exemption Declaration Form” to complete. If you are in any doubt as to whether you are eligible to receive goods zero-rated for VAT you should consult notice 701/7 VAT reliefs for disabled people or contact the National Advice Service on telephone 0845 010 9000 before signing the declaration as there are penalties for making false declarations.
Online orders made by parents/individuals and those based outside of the UK require full payment before the goods will be delivered. Payments can be made using all major debit/credit cards (except AMEX) through our secure service providers. Online orders made by schools/businesses/organisations can be made by credit/debit card or by requesting the invoice option. Our settlement terms for an invoice account are strictly payment in full within 30 days from invoice date.
Cheques should be made payable to Pyramid Educational Consultants UK Ltd with your postcode/account number/invoice number written on the reverse.

We will use our best endeavours to dispatch your goods within 2-3 (working) days following receipt of your order. During busy periods or official office closure such as Christmas dispatch time can be slightly delayed but will generally be despatched within 1 to 7 (working) days. If you place your order online you will usually receive an email from us advising that your order has been despatched. If any reasonable or unavoidable delay arises which are genuinely beyond our control we will contact you as soon as possible. Orders will be despatched via Royal Mail parcel post or by courier depending on value of the order. For orders that are refused/undelivered we reserve the right to make a carriage charge of £15.00 + VAT. A further carriage charge will be made if you want the order to be redelivered.
